Trustee (Chair) – Simon has a long career in journalism and broadcasting working for the BBC for the majority of that time. For the past 12 years he has worked for Somerset County Council as a director and deputy chief executive. Simon is close to the adults’ services provision of the Authority and brings insight and knowledge of social care provision and funding to the Trust. He has recently moved back to Dorset having formerly lived near Wimborne and Poole, and now lives with his family near Weymouth.
